I am trying to be intentional in choosing photos that are not so pretty, and more of a reflection of real life. Not that real life isn't pretty, and I think I can do a great job of capturing a perspective of beauty and light, but... the connections between my kids often happen in our basement. I might chop a limb in creating a photo with all of my kids together. Those are the photos that I still want to use as most representative of our days.
