During the time I spent in Guatemala, we ventured away from Project Somos to visit the local market in Tecpán. These photos were taken Thursday, June 27th, 2019 with my iPhone. I didn’t feel totally comfortable taking out my big camera, as this definitely wasn’t some sort of hopping tourist spot- this was the regular market where local residents buy their food and other needed items. We were already looking pretty conspicuous. I am so happy that we were able to have this experience. I think this group of photos really shows off the color and feeling of Guatemala.
